Purpose 3 The purpose of this policy is to set expectations for retiring of Wicomico County Public Schools 4 (WCPS) facilities in compliance with the Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) Title 5 13A.02.09.01-.03. 6 7 II. Policy Statement 8 As the population within Wicomico county, matures or changes, school buildings and other school 9 facilities may no longer be needed or may no longer be usable. Therefore, the Wicomico County 10 Board of Education (WCBOE) must review and consider school facilities for use modification and 11 retirement. 12 13 III.
