64 General Topic Facility Needs 64.061.97 Special Initiatives - Code Compliance Continuation of our program to upgrade and address regulatory problems and/or code compliance issues in our buildings as required on an ongoing basis. Issues such as: ADA, OSHA, Fire and Life Safety, Environmental, Wastewater Treatment Plant Regulations, and Indoor Air Quality issues. Due to the discontinuation of the School Construction Savings Fund it is becoming increasingly important to address various capital renewal and requirement projects as a way to address deferred maintenance. Project Description The funds would be used for various safety, compliance & regulatory issues as part of a comprehensive capital renewal program so as to bring our buildings into compliance and to address unsafe conditions as they exist. 64.12.653 Special Initiatives - Fields and Grounds The Middle Schools are lacking athletic facilities to support the intramural sports initiative. Project Description Study, design, and construct basketball and tennis courts at the middle schools to support intramural sports. Budget is an estimate and would be used to cover costs across all locations listed below. Budget does not take into consideration necessary grading and stormwater management requirements.
