It is acknowledged that individuals vary greatly in their needs and abilities. Consequently, the ϯϲ school system has an obligation to provide diversified and well-balanced programs. ϯϳ ϯϴ V. Strategic Plan ϯϵ This section shall be effective beginning January 1, 2027. ϰϬ A. The Superintendent shall develop and maintain a multi‑year strategic plan that aligns with this ϰϭ policy. The strategic plan shall identify priority goals, key performance indicators, and major ϰϮ initiatives planned to advance the long‑term direction of the school system. ϰϯ B. The priority goals and performance indicators shall be approved by the Board and used to inform ϰϰ the development of a Strategic Plan. ϰϱ C. The Superintendent shall seek and consider input from WCPS stakeholders in the development of ϰϲ the Strategic Plan. ϰϳ D. A comprehensive draft of the strategic plan, including updates or revisions, shall be submitted to ϰϴ the Board to ensure alignment with the Board’s Mission, Vision, and Educational Philosophy. ϰϵ E.
